This year as well, NTN will continue to take on challenges toward the realization of a “NAMERAKA Society.” In 2025, while the global economy maintained a recovery trend, international tensions persisted in Ukraine and with instability in the Middle East, and the business environment remained uncertain. Export restrictions and tariff reinforcements due to U.S. trade policies accelerated the reorganization of supply chains. In addition, the advancement of GX and DX promoted the transformation of industrial structures, and companies were forced to respond to risks and strengthen competitiveness. Domestically, population decline and labor shortages became more serious, and companies were required to respond to social issues such as wage increases, securing labor, responding to rising prices, and childcare support. It was a year when movements spread to maintain competitiveness, such as increasing GX and DX investment, reviewing human resource strategies, and strengthening sustainability management. We view these changes as opportunities and aim to transform into a corporate structure that combines competitiveness and flexibility. This year as well, we will promote business structure reform and focus on the following measures. · Expansion of Aftermarket Business In addition to expanding inventory of best-selling models and capturing demand for replacement bearings, we will strengthen bearing lifecycle management. We have launched diagnostic and analysis services utilizing cutting-edge sensing and monitoring technologies such as the condition monitoring and residual life estimation. Furthermore, overseas, we will expand our product lineup through acquiring stakes in LTM, which manufactures shock absorbers for automobiles in Tunisia, and will further enhance our brand image by advancing services for distributors and maintenance companies. · Strategic Investment in Growth Markets We will expand aerospace bearing production capacity in Europe to reliably capture growing demand and promote development of high value-added products for next-generation engines and hybrid mobility.
